Spark was commissioned to design a flagship store and identity for Malaysia’s first 4G wireless broadband network, ‘Yes’. Located in the Lot 10 shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, the store serves the dual purpose of a sales platform and public attraction for shoppers. A dynamic installation resonant of the World Wide Web is suspended in the mall’s atrium – a series of cascading programmed LED cubes provide an immersive Internet experience for the customers. An interactive wall and browsing “test bed” stations enable customers to try the products before purchase. Continuing the language of the cubes, a large 6-metre tall multimedia LED cube placed outside Lot 10 functions as a product beacon for the ‘Yes’ brand.
