SPARK AT REDAS YOUTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE

SPARK partner Stephen Pimbley was invited to address the annual gathering of the REDAS youth members in Kuala Lumpur last month.

The title of the forum was the future “smart” city. Stephen presented several of SPARK’s research projects namely Orchard Road and the Solar Orchid  which are aligned to the consistent urban thinking of “improving the quality of the city” a goal that is inherent in SPARK’s completed and under construction Asian projects.

The main focus of Stephen’s presentation was SPARK’s Home Farm, a proposal that brings together commercial market gardening with elder care living in a development designed to combat the growing problems of aging and dementia in Singapore.

A lively question and answer debate followed the presentation.
