SPARK and Healthcare Provider HSC Healthcare Group have unveiled plans for HomeFarm–winner of the Future-Experimental Project at World Architecture Festival 2015– to be developed on a 6.5 hectare site in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The first of its kind globally, Homefarm Cyberjaya a mixed used Residential development will set a new benchmark in holistic living by combining healthcare monitoring & urban farming for multi-generational interaction in a green living environment. The 200,000 sqm GFA project comprises of a HSC Medical Centre, six residential towers, a central productive garden and farm, nursing home, retail, sports and recreational facilities for residents. The Residential units will be integrated with “MediHome”- a cloud based electronic Healthcare technology which allows users to monitor their vital signs and access it on the move. The focus on Health and Wellness is consistently applied throughout the design from naturally ventilated units, Green views, accessibility to sustainability. At Home Farm the older generation can live with dignity and self esteem, the farming activity of HomeFarm is designed to support its resident community in a sustainable environment where the requirements of contemporary lifestyle, the traditional family unit and the care of senior citizens is the key driver. The productive garden is central to the development it is the heart of the community, a safe active garden environment that encapsulates the ambitions of wellness and life quality with the story of organic productivity.
